Matthias Böning and Dr. Christof Glatzel founded the real estate development company Boening & Glatzel GmbH in 2014 with a focus on project development and entrepreneurial conceptual consulting for companies with retail portfolios. They have jointly developed twelve centers, carried out four redevelopments and managed fifteen large-volume transactions at mfi AG/Unibail Rodamco. On July 1, 2023, Stefan Klug joined them and Boening Glatzel Klug were complete. Together they have over 50 years of experience in the development, marketing and realization as well as in the management of city quarters, district and large shopping centers. In the process, they moved a real estate value of more than five billion euros. In addition, they were responsible for the management of thirty shopping centers.
As Boening Glatzel Klug, they have since developed five existing properties, managed the same number of transactions and had a variety of consulting mandates.

In the position of Sales Manager he sold real estate worth over one billion Euros to domestic and foreign institutional investors. Subsequently, he served as an Executive Board Member for Project development. As COO, he was responsible for the positioning of the centers, marketing, asset management, center management and distribution.
Born on October 19, 1964 in Cologne, graduated architect.
Stefan Klug is a qualified architect with 30 years of professional experience in the development, planning and management of complex real estate projects with an investment volume of up to €900 million per project and a total volume of over €3.5 billion.
Stefan Klug held management positions at Karstadt AG, as Managing Director of mfi Development GmbH and as Investment Director at the international real estate fund manager Mitiska-REIM. Stefan Klug was a long-standing member of the board of URBANICUM and a lecturer at the ebs.
